Central:

One cupboard with linen and towels, one for useful items such
as umbrella and battery charger and another containing the secondary
water closet and whb. Central Heating and Security phone for
control of the Main Street Door are also located here. |
Bedroom
North |
The
north bedroom has a bay window with fantastic views. A Thonet
style bentwood frame rocking chair is located in the bay "to
watch the world" from this vantage.
There is also
a walk-in dressing wardrobe. Ash wooden bedframe, bedside desks
and dressing table, TV with Freeview and phone are also provided.
There are ceiling and bedside lights and numerous power points.
An oil-filled electric room heater is available in this room.
The floor is deep carpeted and has full-length window curtains.
Two desert landscape
painting and various carvings are found. There are assorted
books, boardgames, a large Cheese Plant, guitar and wind recorder
are also provided.

Bedroom
South |
The
south bedroom is the larger of the two, and has views to the
Pentland Hills and spires of St. Marys Cathedral.
Storage is available
in a freestanding pine wardrobe with integral drawers. There
is also a wooden framed 2m double bed, a Virgin digiboxTV, and
Macintosh computer with broadband connection. There is also
a phone, radio, bedside lamps and an oil filled supplementary
heater.
The windows have
working original shutters and the floor is carpeted. The room
has a tall mirror and bookshelve as well as ceiling light, desk
and wall lights, numerous power points with separate controls.
A laundry basket
and a tall cheese plant along with a variety of books, Indian
Silk Painting and an Indian fruit bowl, Egyptian statue and
african carving. |

Kitchen

The
recently refitted kitchen has a 5 burner gas hob, timer oven,
light/extractor, freezer/refrigerator, toaster, washing machine/dryer,
electric kettle, radio, twin sinks, microwave, window seat/wine
store, also fuses, spare light bulbs, fire alarm, fire extinguisher
and medical kit are provided. The following related items will
also be found: external weather sensor, cooking pans – various
stainless steel, 6No. plates, saucers, cups , cutlery, cutting
knives and kitchen implements - assorted, stainless steel kettle,
Oak chair, Seimens/Porsche coffee maker, tall and fat glass
storage jars, glass dishes for cooking, assorted drinking glasses,
cutlery and serving utilities, Big Blue Water Jug, Big Blue
Teapot, turned Wooden Bowl, rubbish separation recepticles,
wall light, ceiling lights, refuse bin, bucket, cleaning materials
& dustpan/brush. |

Living room/Dining |
The
lounge with dining area is furnished within the same polished
floor area. The high ceiling has a archway and cornice as well
as original window shutters.
The lounge takes the larger proportion and has
a southerly overlook. The windows contain wooden shutters and
blinds. There are two settees, with one convertible into a bed.
There is a Virgin cable TV package, a Hi-Fi console containing
DVD and tuner amplifier. There is a twin modern ceiling light
, two floor lighting stands, an enclosed gas fire, floor rug
and occasional tables, plants and vases. Numerous audio/film
CDs are available here.
The polished marble dinning table will accommodate
six diners. The lighting here is separately controlled by a

Main Bathroom |
The
main bathroom is modern with tiling and fitted with a bath,
thermostatic shower and glass screen, low level wc and matching
bidet, large washstation, mirrored cabinet, built-in storage
units, metallic blinds, towelling radiator, timed under-floor
heating and dimmer light switch.

The
second bathroom is not yet modernised but includes a wash hand
basin, mirror and WC, and a heated towel rail. |
